Day for Night (The Tragically Hip album)
Day for Night is the fourth full-length album by the Canadian rock band The Tragically Hip. It was released in September 1994. The album is known for having a lighter and more acoustic sound compared to the band's first three albums. It is the band's first album to debut at #1 on the Canadian Albums Chart.[1] The album has been certified 6x platinum in Canada.[2]
The album was produced by Mark Howard, Mark Vreeken and The Tragically Hip.
The band also appeared on Saturday Night Live in 1995, performing "Grace, Too" and "Nautical Disaster" in an episode hosted by Dan Aykroyd, in order to promote the album.
